My favourite Character

Obélix is a man with superhuman strength. Is Asterix's friend. He always wear a menhir and he doesn't like Romans. He loves wild boars.

He has a little dog named Dogmatix(Fr. Idéfix). He is a large man who does not see himself as fat,

Sometimes, when he is in a bad mood, just hearing the word "fat" can quickly enrage him. Being called fat, or being hinted as being fat, is one of the main causes of conflicts between Asterix and Obelix which leads to more developing conflicts in which they must work together, in each album. Although conflicts between the two friends invariably degenerate into insults being screamed back and forth, Obelix and Asterix inevitably make up swiftly.

Obelix has no need to drink Getafix the druid's magic potion that gives superhuman strength, because he fell into the cauldron as a baby and its effect on him became permanent. The story of that incident is told in "How Obelix Fell into the Magic Potion When he was a Little Boy. Since this effect was not intended or expected, Getafix refuses to allow him even one more drop except under the direst circumstances.

Obelix is kind-hearted, but is socially. He is still not completely aware of his own strength and almost invariably breaks any door he gently knocks on. He is frequently used as a human battering ram for opening locked doors or breaking through walls.

Although he has his own house, Obelix is occasionally shown staying overnight at Asterix's.
His passions in life are hanging around with Asterix, beating up Roman legionaries (and occasionally collecting their helmets) and eating.

His trademark phrase is "These Romans are crazy"

The Zombie Party

Yesterday with some friends we went to Marta's house and we saw a film called "The Zombie Party".

It's not an horror film.

It's for laugh but in some scenes you see blood, people who make fear...

The film frightened me and before we saw the film, when I arrived home I was trembling with fear because it's noperson in home.

The film talks about three men who are friends and live in the same flat. One day the news sayed that some strange it's happen in the world and it's better stay home. Well, one of the men go to work and no saw that the people who are next to he are zombies. When he ralize, he went with is friends in a safe place. They go in one bar of the village.

Then they are in the bar with no light, whater....and finally come the police and they are safe.

I can't explain the details if you want see the film.

I like it but i prefer adventure films.

The picture of Dorian Gray is a novel written by Oscar Wilde.

The novel tells of a young man named Dorian Gray, the subject of a painting by artist Basil Hallward, who is greatly impressed by Dorian's physical beauty and becomes strongly infatuated with him, believing that his beauty is responsible for a new mode in his art.

Talking in Basil's garden, Dorian meets Lord Henry Wotton, a friend of Basil's, and becomes enthralled by Lord Henry's world view. Lord Henry suggests that the only thing worth pursuing in life is beauty, and the fulfilment of the senses.

Realising that one day his beauty will fade, Dorian cries out, wishing that the portrait Basil has painted of him would age rather than himself.

The Picture of Dorian Gray is considered one of the last works of classic gothic horror fiction.

The characters

  • Dorian Gray -> an extremely handsome young man who becomes enthralled with Lord Henry's idea of a new hdonism. He wish that he could always stay young and that the picture could grow old.

  • Basil Hallward -> an artist who have put muchj of himself into the painting of Dorian Gray. Dorian helps Basil to realise his artistic potential, as Basil's portrait of Dorian proves to be his finest work.

  • Lord Henry Wotton - a friend of Basil, but later becomes more intrigued with Dorian's beauty and naivety. Extremely witty, He corrupts Dorian with his world view, as Dorian attempts to emulate him. Basil calls him "Harry".

  • Sibyl Vane - An extremely poor but beautiful actress with whom Dorian falls in love. Her love for Dorian destroys her acting career, as she no longer finds pleasure in portraying fictional love when she has a true love in reality.

  • James Vane - Sibyl's brother who is to become a sailor and leave for Australia. He is extremely protective of his sister, especially as his mother is useless and concerned only with Dorian's money. He is hesitant to leave his sister, believing Dorian will harm her.

  • Mrs. Vane - Sibyl and James's mother, an old and faded actress. She has consigned herself and Sibyl to a poor theatre house to pay her debts. She is extremely pleased when Sibyl meets Dorian, being impressed by the promise of his status and wealth.

  • Alan Campbell - once a good friend of Dorian, he ended their friendship when Dorian's reputation began to come into question.
